It is so fun when they are old enough to really "get" what birthdays are all about. All he wanted was "my big train birthday". We agonized about having a big party-- but in the end, that is exactly what he got. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. We had fun, the parents seemed to be having fun- and all of his friends (with almost a 9 year age span) seemed to be having a blast. That is saying a lot when it comes to a 3 year old birthday party.

His best birthday yet!
It is so fun when they are old enough to really "get" what birthdays are all about. All he wanted was "my big train birthday".
